The Lechmuseum is a house of culture, history and language. Regular special exhibitions - supraregional, contemporary and socially relevant.
The Huber-Hus, a traditional Walser house dating from 1590, forms the architectural heart of the Lechmuseum and invites visitors to discover rural living and working. Special exhibitions that change every year and a varied programme of events are devoted to cultural-historical themes.
The Walser Museum houses an extensive collection of exhibits from the Lech-Tannberg local history and museum association, as well as mountain farming, skiing and sacred folk art, and numerous exhibits from the fields of handicrafts and home decor.
Culture on the hiking trail
The Wang-Hus is one of the oldest houses on the Tannberg. It is not a museum in the original sense, but since its restoration in 1998 it has been open to the public as a historical monument.
The Schöneberg courtyard desert was archaeologically examined in 2012 and has its origins in the 15th century. The special feature is a covered passageway running underground between the house and the stable.
